the backstory
I tried everything. When I started in the fitness world, I couldn't hire a personal trainer so I spent hundreds of hours consuming all the information I could find about different approaches to nutrition and exercise, trying to figure out what would work best for me. Years later, I had an opportunity to become a personal trainer and get certified in nutrition, so I jumped on it! I wanted to help other women and didn't want lack of money to be a barrier.
It's important for me to use my knowledge and years of experience to help other women. And not just eight weeks at a time with a fitness program, but actually give them the TOOLS they need for a lifetime of success. 

I use my own before and after photos because I believe it's important to show that I started with MYSELF first. I didn't find fitness until my late twenties and spent most of my thirties pregnant or breastfeeding. So determination was essential and I didn't want to waste my time. I honed in quickly on which methods were effective, which ones weren't and found a way to start helping others. 

Fitness is not easy for me. It wasn't intuitive to me until I'd been doing it quite a while. I do it out of necessity, not out of a true love for fitness. I DO love how it makes me look and how it makes me feel, so I keep going. It's way easier to just KEEP GOING than to keep starting over.
